CONDITIONS for REPAIR
A. If your A/C Compressor casing is leaking Freon, or Oil, then this kit on the left, will stop the compressor o-ring leaks. See page 6
B. While I am replacing all of the soft rubber o-ring internal components, shown left, I will also replace all of the bearings.
C. For your A/C Compressor, if the clutch face plate does not spin, (not to be confused with the pulley), then it has probably run out of oil, overheated and seized, it may not be be repairable.
D. First thing you need try a UV leak detection test performed on the A/C system. To see where the leaks are.
E. Then possibly have the system recharged, and see where the beginning pressures low/high are. And compare these after the recharge.
If its pressure numbers are too low, the above repairs A & B, will NOT solve the pressure problem, and it may not be able to be repaired. The repair needs to be performed before it runs out of oil.

BMW A/C Rebuild add on's - Zinc Plating
Zinc Plating: To plate the parts like BMW did in the eighty's, it is called Yellow (gold chromate over Zinc.
Zinc Plating Cost is $175.00 for each compressor which is about 27 pieces.
Included in this is my polishing each piece to look new plus my travel to and from my plater.
An additional cost for adding mounting brackets, bolts and nuts and washers, and attachments.

Stickers - The Four Reproduction A/C Labels are now $28.00 + $5.00 to remove your old Labels = $33.00 please add to your rebuild.
PREP - Winter Road Salt Deposits Removal - $25.00
EXCESSIVE RUST REMOVAL - If you want the Compressor Plated or Painted I use a fine wire brush to Polish the Steel parts - $25.00
EXTRA PAINT AND PREP - If your compressor has been repainted by a rebuilder most of the paint comes off during cleaning. Additional cost to remove the rest is $30.00.
EXTRA PAINTING - A/C Compressor painted either Silver or Satin Black, Add $120.00, and add 4 days, for painting time. Additional parts like brackets are extra. I clean, polish, prep, mask, and spray, then assemble.
